Oh So Silly | Family Photographer Canton Michigan

This weeks theme at I heart Faces is "Oh so Silly".   I decided to share this photo in honor of their theme, I thought it very fitting.  This was a photo I snapped at a family session.   I told the kids that if they gave me a few nice smiles during the family shot...I would let them do what they wanted after.  This is one of the silly poses they decided on..lol.  I love capturing kids being kids.

Workshop | Photography Studio Farmington Hills MI

So we recently had a portfolio building workshop for local photographers.  This small group session allowed photographers to work with studio lighting, off camera flash, or what ever their creative minds drove them to try.  We were thrilled with our model Madison. Lazy J Wedding | Michigan Wedding Photographer

Today's blog features my last wedding of 2011.  You may remember Molly & Jason from their engagement post this fall.  What a fun, charming couple.  This was really a fun wedding to end my wedding season on.  They had their wedding ceremony and reception at a barn at the Lazy J Ranch in Milford, Michigan.  The property at Lazy J Ranch provides a beautiful backdrop for a country style wedding, the owner even calls the evening squaredance and offers hay rides if the weather is nice.  Everything was fall themed with this Halloween weekend wedding including customized table decor and a beautiful cake featuring a spider web spralling up the side.  No detail was left undone...their nephews even carved their names in pumpkins which left a romantic glow for all to see.

Your Biggest Fan | Wedding Photographer Ann Arbor Michigan

A while back I introduced you to Jennifer & Henry through the sneak peak of their engagement session at the U of M stadium.  If you recall, they are HUGE Michigan fans...but I'm certain the Michigan team now takes a back seat to being each others biggest fan.  This was such a fun wedding, they started with a simple wedding ceremony a cute little church in Dexter then celebrated their reception at Reddeman Farms Golf Club in Chelsea.  We snuck onto the golf course for a few quick photos with the wedding party, then celebrated inside with family and friends.
