It's the end of March, so I thought I'd sneak in one last post under this months theme "lucky". Today's post represents many things I feel lucky for today. Lucky winter is behind us {hopefully}these images are from the last winter blast we got this month. Lucky to have the opportunity to photograph natures beauty that is all around us. Lucky to have good friends, even more... a good friend to photograph with! This post shows a photorun I did with my friend. She bought her first DSLR { YEAH! } so we hit our favorite dirt roads that snowy day to do a little photo lesson. We ran and snapped some photos of our favorite running route.

Photowalk | Senior Pictures, Michigan Photographer
If you ever wanted a true test of your relationship, spend a week remodeling the bathroom with your Hubby! After a long week off from photography, I'm back with another post for the March theme Lucky. Today's feature photos are from the Photowalk hosted by Boka Studios and Jean Smith Photography. I truly felt lucky to be one of the handful of photographers to participate in this editorial style walk through Detroit. It was certainly a chilly November evening, but the seniors who modeled for us had the most amazing energy and attitudes..I just loved working with them all. If you're a photographer looking for a great opportunity to work with some fabulous photographers check out the workshop Boka & Jean Smith are organizing, May is sold out but they just announced a 2nd workshop in September: http://workshop.jeansmithphotography.com/

Sewell Workshop | Children Photographer, Canton Mi
For some reason I started a theme month last month, so I thought I would continue it this month. When I think of March I think of St. Patty's Day and the "luck of the Irish". Well, my mama always said I was "a wee bit irish"...I'm not sure if that's true, but I'll go with it. So this month's theme is "Lucky".
I'm feeling lucky to have so many talented photographers out there who inspire me. I had the great pleasure of working with a few of them last fall so I thought I would post some of my favorite images from those events. Today I will feature the photos I took at the Shannon Sewell Workshop. This workshop was hosted by the lovely and talented Laurel of Laurel Photography.

Sassy Boots | Children Photographer, Canton Michigan
"Head, Shoulders, Knees, & Toes....anything but a face" is the theme at iheartfaces.com. I always love seeing what other photographer and fellow shutterbugs post under each weeks theme. I had a hard time choosing something to submit, so many options.... I decided on this image, cuz I just love the pink sassy boots!
