This charming song from the move The Wedding Singer...sung by Adam Sandler was beautifully delivered during the reading at Jennifer and Gordies Wedding.  There is always at least one part of the wedding I'm photographing that "gets me" and that's it...I tear up and get that lump in my throat...this was that moment.  It was one of those cry/laugh moments, which reminds me of my own wedding where I laughed and cried through the whole ceremony...lol.

Somewhere only we know | Engagement Photographer Canton MI

Molly & Jason are sharing their first Thanksgiving together as Man & Wife.  Yes, this wonderful couple tied the knot in a unique country style wedding over Halloween weekend....sneak peak soon to come.   A couple weeks before their wedding we strolled through the back trails of Maybury Park in nothville.  To a secret spot they had carved their initials in a tree a while back.  It was so fun to explore this special location with them and capture that spark that has kept their love alive since they met back in high school.

The rush for High School Senior Pictures is slowing down, everybody is settled into their school schedules and looking forward to the holiday break.  Here is a sneak peak at one of the seniors I photographed at my studio: Door 2 Studios, in Farmington.  She had this shy, sweet exterior...but once we got going, I knew she had a fun, crazy side to her.

Go Blue! | Engagement Photographer Canton, MI

Jennifer & Henry are BIG Michigan Wolverine fans, so much so that we did their engagement session at the U of M Stadium.  We were not lucky enough to get through the gates, but we still had fun.  I'd challenge you to find bigger fans, this fun couple even played the Michigan Fight song for their reception grand entrance.  Wedding photos to come soon ...

Fall in Love | Wedding Photographer Canton Michigan

I just love the fall, it's my favorite time of year.  So I decided to do a quick post in honor of the iheartfaces.com fall theme this week.  October in Michigan is beautiful, I captured this engagement photo just before the leaves blew off the trees.  Full engagement post still to come.

One with Nature | Photographers Canton Michigan

I really enjoyed exploring the nature center with Marisa during her High School Senior Photo session.  She loves being outdoors, so this was the perfect setting and she adores her favorite pooch even more.  Thanks for a fun morning Marisa, have a super senior year!

You never know when your going to meet that perfect person...your true sole mate.  John & Marybeth fell hook, line, and sinker in love with each other after meeting through a fishing group.  How cool is that!  I was honored to capture their wedding at the Mill Race Chapel in Northville.

On the edge | High School Senior Photographer Ann Arbor, MI

So...Stephen wanted something a little more "on the edgy side" for his high school senior pictures.  He's a very creative individual, so it only made since that he would want a creative look for his senior portraits.  He chose downtown Ann Arbor where there is always something interesting to photograph.  We had fun exploring different alleys and streets through the city.

Classic Beauty | Senior Portrait Photographer Novi Michigan

It was so nice working with Rachna on her High School Senior Pictures.  We met at the studio (Door 2 Studios) for her senior session where we took both indoor and outdoor images.  I just loved the beautiful details and colors of her Indian Sari.

Cranbrook Beauty | Cranbook West Bloomfield MI Photographers

Wow!...  It was such an honor to take senior pictures of beautiful Adriana at her amazing school.. Cranbrook in West Bloomfield Michigan.  I could have stayed there all day taking photos, every nook and cranny had something unique and fabulous.  She led me through back alleys to beautiful gardens.  The Greek Theater and Football field made me feel like I stepped into a Harry Potter movie.  I was just in awe of my surroundings and could not imagine a more beautiful place to reside.

     The Kingwood Campus, seriously wouldn't you love this to be your front porch.

       The secret garden..... Adriana took me to her happy place, a little garden tucked away...so serene and quiet.

     The Boat House was too cool, not to stop for a few pictures as we made our way to the Cranbrook House.

       What did I say....Harry Potter world.  How cool are these bleachers.
